Working Principle
Description:
The adapter sleeves are the most commonly used components for positioning bearings with tapered holes on cylindrical shafts, because they can be used for optical axis or stepped shafts. This kind of sleeves are easy for installation and do not need to be additionally fixed on the shaft. When the sleeves are used on the optical axis, the bearing can be positioned at any position on the axis. When used together with the stepped ring on the stepped shaft, the bearings can be accurately positioned in the axial direction, and it is also convenient for the bearings to be dismounted.
Application:
The adapter sleeve is used to fix tapered hole self-aligning bearings (self-aligning ball bearings and self-aligning roller bearings) on shaftless shoulder shafts. Simple in structure, reliable in work and convenient in bearing exchange, they are widely used in industries such as textile, light industry, paper making, metallurgy, belt conveyors and conveying equipment.
